Privacy Policy
Effective Date: November 8, 2025
Your trust is the most important asset we have. We believe a privacy policy should be easy to understand. Our goal is to be transparent about how we handle your data, especially the project information you entrust to Ardan. We do not sell your data, and we are committed to being responsible stewards of it.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: Your name and email address to create and manage your account.
Project Data: The goals, plans, deliverables, and all content you create within your projects. This is Your Data, and we treat it with the highest level of care.
Usage Information: We collect anonymized data about how you interact with our service (e.g., features used, buttons clicked) to help us identify bugs and improve the user experience.
Communications: Any feedback or support requests you send to us.
2. How We Use Your Information
To Provide the Service: We use your Account and Project Data to operate Ardan, provide you with customer support, and maintain your projects.
To Improve the Service: We analyze anonymized Usage Information to understand what's working, what isn't, and how to make Ardan better.
To Communicate With You: We use your email to send essential service updates, security alerts, and invoices. You can opt-in to marketing communications separately.
3. How We Use Your Project Data & AI
Your Project Data is Private and Confidential. The content of your projects is yours and yours alone.
We DO NOT train our global AI models on your private Project Data. The guidance Ardan's AI provides to you is based on a pre-trained model. The AI's "learning" about your project happens within a siloed, secure instance that is unique to your account. Your work does not leak out to other users, and their work does not leak into yours.
4. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your data.
We only share information with essential service providers who help us run our business, and they are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential. These include:
Cloud Hosting: (e.g., Vercel, Google Cloud Platform) to host the application and your data.
Payment Processing: (e.g., Stripe) to handle payments securely. You provide payment information directly to them.
Analytics: (e.g., Google Analytics) to analyze anonymized usage trends.
5. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. We use standard industry practices like encryption (both in transit and at rest) and other technical measures to protect your information. However, no system is 100% impenetrable.
6. Data Retention & Your Rights
You own your data.
You have the right to:
Access, update, or correct your information at any time.
Request a copy of your Project Data.
Delete your account and all associated data permanently. When you request deletion, we will erase your information from our production systems.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
